Carbon Monoxide Dangers
Indoor air pollution can cause many serious long-term health illnesses. Combustion appliances such as gas dryers, furnaces, ranges, water heaters, un vented space heaters, and even electric stoves can omit hazardous toxins such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, and volatile organic compounds.
There are several reasons why these hazardous toxins are produced and spread throughout your living space. Cracked heat exchanger's, improper ventilation systems, faulty chimneys, and inadequate combustion can all contribute to poisonous gas buildups.

Draft Test - We will test your flue's draft for safe draft under worst case conditions. Inadequate draft can lead to back drafting and fire dangers.

Carbon Monoxide is the largest cause of death and injury from gas poisoning resulting in more than 500 deaths per year. To ensure that your appliances are functioning properly, always consult a licensed technician! Our technicians are licensed and insured, and use the state of the art testing equipment. We will test all combustible appliances within your home. Our electronic Carbon Monoxide tester displays a digital readout of CO in parts per million. It is recommended by the Building Performance Institute to repair any appliance that leaks 26 or more ppm of carbon monoxide.
Store Bought Carbon Monoxide Testers:
Do not rely solely on store bought carbon monoxide detectors. Although having a detector
installed in your home is better than not having one at all, most of them are rated to alert
you at 500 ppm after 30 minutes of exposure. When purchasing a detector, try getting
one with a minute by minute digital readout, as well as look for a detector will alert you at
